Sanand Industries Association was established in 2011 by the industries located in Sanand GIDC estate. After 11 years of its inception Sanand Industries Association stands out from other state-based industries associations by its achievements in diversified areas. Sanand Industries Association, a group comprises of greater than 250 companies in Sanand is on a mission. Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation has acquired 5000 Acres of land for industries, and key conglomerates such as Tata Motors, Nivea, Nestle India, General Electric, P&G, Coca-cola, Colgate, Hitachi and Unicharm are a part of it: Among all this, the mission is visualised by Shri Ajit Shah; The President of Sanand Industries Association, who envisions Sanand Industries Estate as a Smart Industries Estate, with the mammoth scale of the project, the dream keeps getting bigger by leaps and bounds.
Several activities are being undertaken under the umbrella of SIA. They include redressal of grievances faced by member industries, infra-structural development of estate through member’s participation, providing guidelines to small scale industries to fulfil various legal requirements, green-belt development, activities related to environmental preservation and pollution control, disaster prevention and management, creating awareness among surrounding population about various issues, etc.
To carry out above activities in the most efficient manner, Sanand Industries Association committee is carrying out various ongoing projects, like Fire Station, Labours colony (Shram Niketan), Centralised STP, Green Oxygen Park, Transport Nagar, CCTV, Security, Street lights, Skill Development Center etc.
Sanand Global Expo returning for its second edition will showcase the economic potential of Sanand Gujarat’s industrial hub. This year the event promises over 300 exhibitors and anticipates 20000 visitors creating an unparalleled platform for businesses investors and policymakers to connect and explore partnership opportunities across sectors like automotive engineering electronics manufacturing and green energy.
